CONCERTS!!!
For all those in the Uindy area, who like a little hair splitting opera now and then, I list concerts that I will be attending or performing in:
Oct.
Tues, 10th, 7:30 Christel Dehaan Fine Arts Center, Ruth Lilly Performance Hall "An Evening of Leider." I will be performing a piece by Schubert.
Mon, 23rd, 7:30 CDFAC,RLPH The Suzukis will be playing two of Beethoven's violin sonatas (Op. 12). I will be chilling in the right wing of the hall where the accoustics are warm and clean.
Mon, 30th, 7:30 CDFAC "Celebrating Shostakovich, Remembering Schumann" Some fantastic vocalists, Cris? Patty? You don't want to miss this one. I will be sitting front and center, to support Kathy, Mitzi, Dr. Ratliff.
Saturday, 28th, Indianapolis Symhony Orchestra at the Hilbert Circle Theatre presents Liadov's "Baba Yaga," Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. Ten dollars at the door with student ID get there the hour before hand and we'll meet up, buy tickets, and kill time around the circle...
Thats October.... November has even MORE stuff! If your planner-a-headers, November third and fifth, we are performing opera scenes. See me killing a serpent, all Greeked out!
